Why are diseases on the increase today?
Mining, industry and human-made chemicals are now contaminating our world at a rate never experienced before in human history.
This is why the human body today is overloaded with all sorts of toxic content, including heavy metals. Due to the increased load of toxins, the human body cannot keep up and eliminate them all. This is why toxins accumulate.
“When our detoxification system is overwhelmed, is overloaded, that’s when we start getting symptoms and get sick, but it may take years of accumulated stress and toxins to get to that point... And the key is to figure out how to enhance our body’s capacity to detoxify and get rid of waste while minimizing our exposure to toxins.” - Dr. Mark Hyman of West Stockbridge, MA
What are "toxins" and "toxicity"?
Toxins are foreign substances, commonly man-made chemicals, and heavy metals, which are poisonous inside the body.
Toxicity is the degree to which toxins are poisoning the body.
"Toxins" and "toxicity", are derived from medieval Latin:"toxicum" or "toxicus", meaning “poison” or “poisoned”.
Toxic accumulations - All poisonous substances weaken the body, preventing proper gland and organ functions, absorption of food, and the creation of energy.
What health issues does toxicity cause?
“90% of all chronic and serious illness could be prevented if we were able to eliminate 600 of the most dangerous environmental toxins.” - World Health Organization
Who has toxicity? Do I have toxicity?
We are all exposed to a world full of toxic substances, so we are accumulating toxicity at a rate never seen before in human history.
Can't our bodies release toxicity on their own?
In today’s world, environmental pollution contaminates our air and our water, and even the food we ingest - the human body is accumulating toxicity like never before in history.
National Human Adipose Tissue Survey (NHATS) have reported that even babies are suffering from toxic chemicals. A study by the Environmental Group in the USA in 2004 found that the newborns have on average 287 chemicals in their umbilical cord at birth, 217 of which are poisonous to nerve and brain cells.
Our diet, lifestyle, illness, and mobility restrictions can cause our bodies to no longer to be able to cope and function normally. Cleansing the body is the first step in any healing process.
